How Can I Get Ranked Too???
Online Or Snail Mail Entries
The IDDHA offers ranking in Single Disc, Freestyle, and Distance events. There
are two ways to submit scores in order to be ranked. An IDDHA Representative
must record a team's scores during the competition. The Rep must then fill out
the IDDHA Competition Tally Sheet, including the team's names, IDDHA numbers,
all relevant scores, total number of competitors, placement within a
class/division (for freestyle only) and the IDDHA Representative's name, phone
number and signature. The Representative can fill out the Tally Sheet
electronically online, or can manually fill out the sheet and mail it to:

The results can be submitted electronically at www.IDDHA.com. A copy of the
IDDHA Competition Tally Sheet can be downloaded via the Internet at
www.iddha.com/admin.htm.
Becoming an IDDHA Representative
Becoming a Representative of the IDDHA is very easy. If you are interested,
contact the IDDHA and ask your nearest IDDHA Rep to test you and your dog for an
RPT rating. The requirements to be an IDDHA Representative include maintaining
your membership in good standing and a level 5 RPT rating on at least one dog.
NOTE: To be recognized for IDDHA Ranking in both Freestyle and Single Disc
Events, a dog must be registered with the IDDHA Disc Dog Registry prior to
exhibition. IDDHA Competition Tally Sheets must be submitted within thirty days
of the event or the end of the quarter, whichever comes first. Ranking is
instantly updated as scores are processed at www.iddha.com/ranking.asp.
Ranking for Single Disc Events
Any disc dog event in which the handler is required to throw a single disc from
a designated area and throws and catches are measured and results are recorded
will be considered for ranking. Ranking for Single Disc Events is based on the
catching percentage (execution) of a team. Only catches over 20 yards count
toward a team's catching percentage.
Ranking for Freestyle Events
IDDHA Freestyle Ranking is possible at any freestyle canine disc competition
regardless of judging criteria and or contest format. Ranking is based on the
number of competitors a team beats in freestyle in their division.
Ranking for Distance Events
The IDDHA has recently added a new feature to the disc dog registry database,
"Distance Personal Record". The IDDHA Disc Dog Database allows members to
record their dog's longest catch, when it was caught and who threw it. Theses
statistics will be represented in two separate ranking formats on the IDDHA
website - yearly and all-time ranking.
