IDDHA Freestyle Skill Classes
1) Canine Skills:
A |
Leaping |
Canine must accomplish
standing and running jumps, and flip both right and left. |

Drive |
Canine must maintain focus and intensity
throughout the routine. |
C |
Retrieval |
Canine must consistently demonstrate the
appropriate levels of the IDDHA RPT scale (at least 3-5). |
D |
Bite |
Canine must display commitment and
appropriate intensity at the moment of execution. |
2) Handler Skills:
A

Handler must
organize and execute all elements in a coherent and composed manner.

Disc
Management
|
Handler must
demonstrate a smooth and consistent delivery and recovery of all available discs.

Variations

Handler must execute
a variety of throws including clockwise and counter-clockwise spins, upside-down, and
flipping releases. |

Handler must exhibit
strength, coordination, and agility complimenting the canines athleticism. |

3) Combined Skills:

A minimum of 5 varied release throws/catches (10 to 15 yards). |

A minimum of 1 multiple throw sequence consisting of no less than three consecutive repetitions. |

Crossing
sequence consisting of no less than two consecutive passes with the dog in close
proximity to the handler. |

minimum of 1 dog catch. |
